I don't think they'll believe you. Think of it from their point of view: a guy that never had an account on any tracker wants an account on one of the hardest trackers to maintain a good ratio.

You might be better off by finding an invite on your own. Try tracker forums mostly.

That could be, in theory, worked around as well. My concern would be having them PM the account. (And with my horrible luck, I know that would happen if I ever did the interview

)
