Surfing private tracker sites from multiple locations

    Hi,

I surf the Private Trackers in my office and select torrents to download, whereas I download these at my home since I cannot download from office. The problem is that the ISP at home is the local country one whereas the ISP at office is a foreign country one, added to this I sometimes surf them from VPN at office. Will this cause a problem (especially with BCG and UG)? I am not doing anything wrong, but maybe this can cause some confusion.

you can implement a remote desktop connection where you can connect from work to home and control the pc.. this solution only work for certain versions of windows try "team viewer" if your windows doesn't support remote desktop..

If you want to use a remote connection, use ssh.

You can discuss it with staff as Instab said, or leave a note in your profile, but IP changes on BCG = FUCK NO.

The suggestion to use a remote administration tool on your home PC and surf through it is a good one if you can leave your computer on. Try Radmin or TightVNC, as those use very little upload to work. And secure it, you don't want someone else doing the same.

I got banned at BCG due to this, although I stopped doing it some time back. And they won't revoke the ban. Bad luck.

Sorry if this sounds offensive, but you should have seen it coming. BCG doesn't like country changing and that's well-documented here.

I had used it on multiple ip's even before I read the rules. Ironically I read the rules in my office which has a different ip from my home, and I already realised I would be banned soon.
