It would of course make complete and utter sense. Mermaid-vampire hybrids have a complete disinterest in swiss cheese and garlic and the she-vampires are often fond of draining underage anime boys of their of their blood. Once they've completed their quest to drain and suck the blood, they turn into bisexual beings. And their quest is done and they live happily ever after. Just like in the fairy tales.
