Installation:
1. Download and install Vuze (if this is a Beta/CVS update, download the latest NON BETA release) (Vuze : Java BitTorrent Client - Download).
2. BACK UP YOUR TORRENT LIST! IT IS LIKELY YOU WILL LOSE IT!
3. Optional: If you want to make a backup of your old Vuze version. Go to the install directory and rename Azureus2.jar to Azureus2.jar.bak
4. Extract the files using WinRAR (WinRAR archiver, a powerful tool to process RAR and ZIP files) or equivalent to %PROGRAMFILES%\Vuze (C:\Program Files\Vuze) and overwrite ALL files.
5. Run Vuze and Enjoy!
NOTE: For other operating systems simply replace the Azureus2.jar. For 64-bit, portable, and Vuze Plus support read the README in the appropriate package.

Troubleshooting:
Before posting problems please make sure:
1. You have updated Java Runtime Environment (JRE) to version 6 (Java SE Downloads).
2. You have removed the Vuze folder in %PROGRAMFILES% (C:\Program Files\Vuze).
3. You have removed the Vuze folder in %APPDATA% (The folder may be hidden).
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Vuze for XP
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Vuze for Vista
4. Reinstalled Vuze using the package from Vuze : Java BitTorrent Client - Download
5. Re-applied the hack from the downloaded archives.

Warning: Performing steps 2 and 3 will wipe your torrent list and Vuze settings.

the custom id is fully optional. it has been ported from the old perfect spoof releases for testing purpose (and for paranoid users).

all (including utorrent) generadet id's are 100% bullet proof.

Wait wait, we DON'T need a custom ID to spoof uTorrent? So i've been put off this feature for no reason? Do i need to enable "read ID from file" or anything? If i don't need to input a custom id every time i restart Vuze/uTorrent, then i'll run down my street naked

correct, you dont have to do anything. vuze will generate a valid peer id as the changelog says:

oh and just in case that someone doesnt read the change log: this release supports rm-like client files.

I always read the changelog, but i think i opened the B13 or lower one because i missed the utorrent ID Generator! This is great news, thank you for your work, and thank you to all the other devs out there too! You've made me a very happy man

Hi. i have installed this version on ubuntu. but now i need to run it with coommandline ... its a no display server. im using java-jar Azureus2.jar BUT. the thing i webUI is kinda messed up. when i add more than 2 torrents in webUI the first gets overwritten and i cant access it. no matter what im doing i cant get more than 2 torrents in webUI. when i access server through ssh -X. i see 10active torrents but in webUI only 2. can anybody help me?. also through webUI its almost imposible to accept magnet links but i can live with that.

I'm very happy with the perfect spoof 2 buti have some questions .. I want to make a client file for vuze 4.5.1.0 and i don't have this version of vuze so i sniffed the http request from MRatio and here is the request (some of hidden) ..

I hope some one can answer my question, And I'm sure that you'll .. but i want some information ..

1. I don't know if i have to delete this parameters in the query that doesn't exist in the http request or not.
2. I noticed that all uT's version has the same reserved handshake bytes .. it's the same with vuze ?
(uT 2.0.4 and uT 3.0 has 00000000 00100005 )
3. what is the difference between [ and { in the parameters part .

About question #2 i figured out that not all version of some program is the same but I can't encounter vuze 4.5.1.0 in any peers list xD anyone has the handshake for this version ?

With Java 6 I've no problem but with Java 7, I can't download anything. Does someone use Java 7 and have no problem with the MOD ?
