    Vuze Change Log:
    Vuze Change Log

    Installation:
    1. Download and install Vuze (if this is a Beta/CVS update, download the latest NON BETA release) (Vuze : Java BitTorrent Client - Download).
    2. BACK UP YOUR TORRENT LIST! IT IS LIKELY YOU WILL LOSE IT!
    3. Optional: If you want to make a backup of your old Vuze version. Go to the install directory and rename Azureus2.jar to Azureus2.jar.bak
    4. Extract the files using WinRAR (WinRAR archiver, a powerful tool to process RAR and ZIP files) or equivalent to %PROGRAMFILES%\Vuze (C:\Program Files\Vuze) and overwrite ALL files.
    5. Run Vuze and Enjoy!
NOTE: For other operating systems simply replace the Azureus2.jar. For 64-bit, portable, and Vuze Plus support read the README in the appropriate package.

    Troubleshooting:
Before posting problems please make sure:
    1. You have updated Java Runtime Environment (JRE) to version 6 (Java SE Downloads).
    2. You have removed the Vuze folder in %PROGRAMFILES% (C:\Program Files\Vuze).
    3. You have removed the Vuze folder in %APPDATA% (The folder may be hidden).
    C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Vuze for XP
    C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Vuze for Vista
    4. Reinstalled Vuze using the package from Vuze : Java BitTorrent Client - Download
    5. Re-applied the hack from the downloaded archives.

Warning: Performing steps 2 and 3 will wipe your torrent list and Vuze settings.

    Enjoy!

Sorry mate I must have missed the your post.
Vuze only supports 64bit on Linux. This means on the other operating systems it will ask for the 32bit java.Just install the 32bit java and report back.

More info can be found here: https://jira.vuze.com/browse/SUP-19

"Options > Interface > Reset explorer file associations (.torrent)" {at the bottom} will make Azureus the default again"

    I don't have this button

    "Firefox -> Preferences -> Applications -> magnet "

I don't have this on firefox apps options (With this method I associated .torrent)

That's why I ask here, I already find that wiki with google. In any case thx for the help anyway. No other solutions?

I already found your link on google myself, but is not useful because I don't have .magnet in firefox and I don't have button in Vuze.

Firefor say that .magnet is not associated to any software.

You can also right click on the magnet link and select copy link location. Then go to Vuze, select File --> Open Torrent File. When the dialog popup box opens , click "Add Url" and the link will automatically be inserted. Just click Ok and wait for the magnet link to be downloaded. That's a short term solution for downloading magnet links with Vuze. In order to have magnet links associated with firefox, you mave have to do it manually. In Firefox, go to Tools---> Options--->Applications. See if magnet has now been added in the content type. If it has, you will have to manually choose the location of the Vuze executable as the default program to open magnet links. I hope that this helps. Good Luck.
