Installation:
1. Download and install Vuze (if this is a Beta/CVS update, download the latest NON BETA release) (Vuze : Java BitTorrent Client - Download).
2. BACK UP YOUR TORRENT LIST! IT IS LIKELY YOU WILL LOSE IT!
3. Optional: If you want to make a backup of your old Vuze version. Go to the install directory and rename Azureus2.jar to Azureus2.jar.bak
4. Extract the files using WinRAR (WinRAR archiver, a powerful tool to process RAR and ZIP files) or equivalent to %PROGRAMFILES%\Vuze (C:\Program Files\Vuze) and overwrite ALL files.
5. Run Vuze and Enjoy!
NOTE: For other operating systems simply replace the Azureus2.jar. For 64-bit, portable, and Vuze Plus support read the README in the appropriate package.

Troubleshooting:
Before posting problems please make sure:
1. You have updated Java Runtime Environment (JRE) to version 6 (Java SE Downloads).
2. You have removed the Vuze folder in %PROGRAMFILES% (C:\Program Files\Vuze).
3. You have removed the Vuze folder in %APPDATA% (The folder may be hidden).
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Vuze for XP
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Vuze for Vista
4. Reinstalled Vuze using the package from Vuze : Java BitTorrent Client - Download
5. Re-applied the hack from the downloaded archives.

Warning: Performing steps 2 and 3 will wipe your torrent list and Vuze settings.

I have version 4.7.0.3 B14 and have no setings same as tutorial!!!And I found another problem, when I go to sleep I leave VEM to work,but when I wake up I see that the PC go to sleep mode.I was looking for a solution but no luck!! thanks again!!

They're there for me. You might need to do this to see them.

• Go to Tools -> Options -> Interface -> Start. Click on the 'Show' button on the right side, select Classic Interface and restart now.
• When Vuze reappears, go to Tools -> Options -> Mode, and select 'Advanced' in the right side.

Well, you can disable sleep in Windows.



Or just run this program.

I have one more problem now.I Reinstall Windows 7.And install VEM clean with x64 support,but now i no have to see in torrent line,fake uploaded,fake share ratio....how to get this?thx

Hello

i'm sorry to bother you guys ,but I need some help for MacOsX .. I read all and tried several times but Vuze crashes after install.

Well I can't understand what I have to replace for Mac / portable version :

1) I downloaded Vuze_4702_macosx and install it.
2)I downloade SB-I_Vuze_Hack_4_7_0_3_B14 and replace Azureus2.jar in macos package
3) I put files in SB-I_Vuze_Hack_4.7.0.3_B03_Portable_Support.rar in Vuze folder

what am I doing wrong?
please help

I'm having trouble getting it to work on my new Mac OS Lion system.

Any Vuze version below 4.7.0.0 will not work on Lion. I downloaded the latest 4.7.0.1 version of the mod and installed my azureus2.jar file, I changed my info.plist java to 1.6, and when it boots up, it gets stuck on 'initializing RSS feed'.. some sort of plugin error maybe, I'm not sure. When reverting back to original azureus2.jar, boots up fine.

Any suggestions?
