rss <ttl> overide on rss feeds from torrent sites

    Hi
i hope this is right place to ask as it is some sort of hack needed i would belive.
I was wondering is there a way to bypass the <ttl> some private trackers have in there rss feed like one im currently on has <ttl>20<ttl> so it will only allow me to update every 20 mins.
Now seedboxs can check alot quicker than this i belive its 3 mins and are allways on torrents alot quicker for obvious reasons.
Is there any way to get around this so that my utorrent will update the rss feed alot more oftern and check for new torrents as you can do it by manual update.
    thanks for any help.

Protip: delays are there for a reason.

Note seedboxes can jump on torrents much faster via IRC autodownloaders.

    Hi all.

First time poster here on the forums. Have run into the same issue, but I am not looking to find a way to circumvent it. Rather, I am looking for an alternative. To this point I have been relying on a invite only tracker to get my daily dose of TV goodness, but with connection speeds becoming ever faster, and since I am in Portugal and can't stay up all night waiting for the freshest release, I have to rely on RSS and a torrent client. But my threads only refresh every 120min (2 hours for those that don't like doing the math). This means that more often than not the torrent has been out for more than an hour and most ppl have already dloaded it. This didn't use to be a problem, but now with fast connections, most ppl have already dloaded by the time I catch the torrent. This means my ratio is hurting bad. Most noticeably since last season. I am actually loosing ratio instead of steadily gaining like I was last season.

I started researching alternatives and finally stumbled on this thread and others that speak of IRC and announce bots and auto downloads. This might be the solution for me. But I need more info and instead of asking for a ton of info on this thread, I would rather just ask you kind souls if you could point me to a decent thread or source of information. Google is my friend and so far has pointed me to chatzilla, auto downloader, etc... but I can't really find a source that tells me where to go or what to do with all of it, although I can infer most for myself.

Any and all help appreciated. Thanks in advance!

As in pyWA? From WHAT?SCRIPTS pyWA?

Ouch!!!! Python. I was never able to get it to run for me. Installed and tried running the Whatauto.py file. Couldn't run. I open it in idle and try to run it and all I get is invalid syntax errors.
