exactly, its simply yet another action movie, parading around with the holmes name sticking out, it has little to do with what the original writer (doyle) had envisioned, ie. yet another story perverted by the entertainment industry, making uninspired movies unworthy of the source material
doyle's holmes is about brains, eccentricity, solving elusive cases, observing & seeing things that others would miss - downey jr.'s holmes is about pompous egoism, non-stop fighting/action, conspiracies, showing-off, etc. - its not another iron man, but a completely different character - in this respect the character portrayal has been a clear failure and it is likely to repeat itself in this sequel
and btw. moriarty is a challenge to holmes, a worthy opponent, not a hated enemy, a breath of fresh air in the largely stale/petty/simplistic criminal 'community'
