Activation ID?

Hy! When I registered and received confirmation email, there was my username and activation ID. So I'm wondering what's this ID for?

greetings yoco welcome to our forum ,

Dear brother, the User name and the Activation ID is for the ones who cannot do confirmation from the link as if getting an error , then the //staff provides all users with alternative option to confirm the other link and put the Username and the Activation ID given in the email so after they copy and paste , it makes for them activate their account in the forum successfully ..
