Wink Should SB-I's registration form have an IQ test?

So that we don't get people like iMkNoWn who don't even read the fucking thread, hop to ask their noob questions, act like idiots when we point that out, and then proceed to flame me staff via PM.

    What do you think?

If that doesn't work out, I think ghostfucker is working on a vBulletin Extreme Mod that will give you an electrical shock every time you do something stupid (only compatible with USB mice so far).

What kind of questions would there be?

And I love the alternative that ghostfucker is working on
    Thanks

In my opinion, this won't solve the "global internet noobs crisis", it will piss new honest members, because me and probably others like clean, fast and easy registrations,
So if the registration form was hard/time consuming/needs a lot of refreshing(trying) I'd say screw it and find my stuff somewhere else.

A member who makes (something stupid/a lot of stupid things) which can't be forgiven will get banned.

    1. can you tell the difference between other objects and yourself? (Yes/No)
    2. if so, do you have basic knowledge of English? (Yes/No)
    3. if so, does it encompass the meanings of the verb "search" and the adverb "carefully"? (Yes/No)
    4. are you able to use them in a grammatically correct sentence (e.g. "Search carefully")? (Yes/No)
    5. do you think those terms would be relevant to your SB-I posting experience as a whole? (Yes/No)
    6. would the people you know define you as lazy? (Yes/No)
    7. are you a member of law enforcement or anti-piracy agencies, or a staff member in a music tracker? (Yes/No)
    8. is this question filler just to that it reaches 10 questions? (Yes/No)
    9. did you even expect this list to have 10 questions? (Yes/No)
    10. no, seriously? (Yes/No)

When the form is submitted, the contents of the form are analyzed by a parser written in ASM which possesses full artificial intelligence and decision-making abilities. Each answer is given a score which is evaluated against a minimum required amount. If the subject fails validation, we'll ban his IP, and use cookies, Flash LSOs, DOM storage, force-cached objects, the CSS leak, IE UserData and Silverlight storage to prevent him from registering for the following 24 hours.

If the registrar is found to cheat on the test, registration will be allowed, but the system will cause him to run out of luck. You don't want to know what this implies.

And I love the alternative that ghostfucker is working on

We believe people with cognitive abilities developed enough to be constructive lurkers or semi-constructive posters will be able to pass the test without problems.

So if the registration form was hard/time consuming/needs a lot of refreshing(trying) I'd say screw it and find my stuff somewhere else.
Try finding out stuff somewhere else, chap.

The idea is banning them before they can even register. For a cleaner SB-Innovation™.

Thanks for all the "thanks", I didn't even think you'd like this so much

The .de guys wouldn't even see the test as they're mostly cool. Look at all those politics and BT drama threads. Everything squeaky clean.

    Ooohhh LaaLaa.
I love stuff about idiocy quotients ( err...that's IQ, if you didn't actually realize that).

One thing that might be stressed in the IQ test is to tell them that the excessive strain on their brain is healthy and makes them smarter. This in addition that their IQ score will be anywhere below their expectations and that if their IQ score is anywhere below 2 we would consider them clinically disabled. We should back this up with some scientific data published in the psychiatric journal Big-Juggs, that over 99% of people with IQ scores between 120 and 130 have IQ scores of between 120 and 130.

Also, the questions need to be simpler:

*If a chicken-and-a-half lays an egg in an half-in-hour and a-half, how many pancakes will it take to shingle my dog's house?? Estimate your answer and round to the nearest nano-thousandth.
**Show all work on the margin of your computer screen.
    **We check.

*Calculate the square root of blue and multiply it by any secondary color (use red). Show all work with crayon in the correct color of your answer.

*Only using triangles, prove that the sky is blue.
    "God, from the mount Sinai
    whose grey top shall tremble,
    He descending, will Himself,
in thunder, lightning, and loud trumpet’s sound,
    ordain them laws".

I don't think there's a point. Even if you put 10 feet blinking neon sign with arrows pointing to it saying "use search" there will always come someone that feels too important and unique to bother with it. You can't really educate all the idiots in the world, and that's a fact of life. That's why gods of boards invented banhammers.

    Should I?

For sure then the registration count per day will fall to 0.

    @Topic:
It can be really good to have such a test.
This should prevent a lot of spam and flameswars.

I must have questioned what questions will be put in the new registration form,
    but yoco asked first.
now I think it shouldn't be a big deal...but still annoying

Once SB-I is acquired by Google, we'll have an algorithm that automatically traces your IP and uses cookies to determine whether you should see the test to begin with.

    ...
Sorry, I meant "our" - that typo kind of changed the whole sense of my sentence.

I'm to imprees the question on SB-I, the question to don't places that the User search the solution @google!

the question must specialized to the torrent-scene including cautious about cheaten and other, but they must answer the question "What do you think about SB-I?" "What is in your opinion SB-I?"

And so it's our staff to relinquish if this answer right or not.

so we can better to select the User...

best regards and I wish @all happy Easter

PS. Sorry for my bad english
