Post a screen of your settings to make sure everything's right. Also, remember you have to use labels to make this or that profile apply for a particular torrent.

    Owyn, Best tool ever.

there is new UT version by the way. but it's only promo update, nothing new.

there is a bug I come up against few days ago, I put fakeuplaod and label on toreent and it's not fakeupload (i stop & start the torrent) only restart of UT fixed it.

the only improvement that i think it's necessary is to update the label on the go, so if you want to change labels without need to stop and star the torrent.

it's suspect that someone upload on x4 and then stop and start the torrent and uplaod x10...
it's possible to improve that? thanks.

    I have a question , isn't utorrent close source ?

I mean how did you manage to modify utorrent ? With azureus is easy because is open source but how with utorrent ?

Or is it just a different application made to look like utorrent?

I'm trying for a week now and got a "invalid peer_id" error. Luckily, it was on a tracker that I could care less about. But can anybody tell me what may be causing it and how would you know if a peer_id is valid or not (using smartsniff, maybe)? I tried running the debug dll but my computer's seems to be too slow debugging that it crashes every time.

you can allways use any sniffer to do the same thing and know what uSerenity does, e.g. with HTTP debugger Pro program, see announces for original uTorrent then for uSerenity where it says about invalid peerIDs or say what kind of crashes do you get and optionally a crashdump ^_^

Thanks Owyn. But how do I know if a peer_id is invalid or not? As long as it starts with -UT2210- or something like that, it should be valid, right?

A peer_id must be exactly 20 bytes long. One character is one byte, except for anything that looks like %xx, which counts as one byte and not three. Most if not all non-printable characters shouldn't be on it (having been URL-encoded instead).

You're obviously using the wrong speeds if someone suspects the change...
Why don't you change the speeds more moderately?

Hmm, what do you mean by non-printable characters? Backslashes and the like? And, is it necessary to have only "%XX" patterns after the -UT2210- part of the string?

Does the fake upload speedmode work exactly as azureus shu mod ?

I still use the shu mod of azureus 2.5.0.4 but it uses big amount of ram , so if it is the same maybe its time for a change

    You didn't understand me.

what suspect it's not the speed but the need to stop and start the torrent on setting or label change.
real uploader will almost never stop & start the torrent, but he will allow it to upload without disturbance.

And not only that the torrent wtill stop & start but also immediately after the start the speed will be changed (because this we restart the torrent) this is somewhat suspect .
