Have you tried using a data recovery tool like Acronis Disk Director?
i can use that recovery tools... but i don't want to coz i need to have a another hdd for copying 800 gb and it takes a hell of a time to recover the files...

This is the first time I hear of a drive "turning" into RAW, which isn't a file system as far as I know, but Windows' way of saying there isn't any (recognizable) one.
It could be a problem with your OS, did you try plugging the drive on another computer?

actually its due to my fault.. i was making my pen drive bootable for installing windows 7 on laptop but i selected wrong disk and executed these command in cmd
DISKPART
LIST DISK
SELECT DISK 1 (here i selected the wrong one which is my external 2 tb seagate)
CLEAN
CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY
SELECT PARTITION 1
ACTIVE
FORMAT FS=NTFS (this step i have'nt followed after executing active i realized i selected wrong drive so my data is safe)
ASSIGN (but i executed this so that atleast i can see my drive)
Now looks like i have to you shitty thing getdata back for ntfs
and partition magic does'nt works to convert raw to ntfs

I guess not, this program fixed my hdd headers and i was able to access all the data on it without having to format.its not worth it.. already tried.. shitty dos program...
The problem is i forgot how to use it, I'm sure you'll find a good tutorial of how to use it if you googled it.

well no need now.. i'm recovering my data with getdataback for ntfs.. awesome software :) 10+ to this one for data recovery
i wish if i could turn back into ntfs again.. raw simply means unformatted which means it has to b formatted in order to access.. was just trying my luck :)
