Well, there's this certain capability of HTTP, named after something crunchy and edible...

So your saying that posts #2, #4, #5, #8, #17, #20, #23, and #26 were all completely helpless to you??

And that includes a-c-t-u-a-l-l-y using the internet including one of the posts that I made above on configuring your browser to use proxies.

    Is that right??

Obviously, somebody hasn't read a bat-f**k thing posted in this thread here on configuring his browser for proxies.

Look. ....Obviously, with your above statement on wanting to learn how to use proxies and the fact that there's been links posted in this thread along with actually posted information on browser configuration for a proxy, it's pretty obvious you have trouble simply reading information presented before you.

I'm hoping that your really going to read the following.
Maybe that'll help you b/c maybe it's not all just proxies that are the problem. Maybe it's more than that.

There's a certain tutorial in the tutorial sub-forum on altering your MAC address (made by myself) . Have a look inside there.

    Start here:

Then scroll down to: Getting a new IP

There's a plethora of tutorials made by different users there as well. I'd strongly suggest perusing and reading them.

EDIT: Just one last thing. It wasn't sarcasm. It was much less than that.

In regards to proxies im using chrome and not firefox, so would your instructions still apply to chrome. Once again i am sorry if i have messed you about. I will try my best to reread your instructions Sealion and report back.

    It's all good.

    ...wasn't angry. Just very surprised.

Why not try phoning or emailing your ISP and request a change of IP address. Just tell them the truth. You got banned and want back in.

About Chrome. I have no idea. I don't use Chrome. Maybe someone who uses Chrome here can answer that. I"m pretty sure it'll still apply. Can't see that it would make a difference.

    .....Google Chrome doesn’t provide an user interface (UI) to enable or disable proxy server settings. Indeed, Google Chrome is sharing Internet Properties settings (inetcpl.cpl, a Control Panel item that appears as Internet Options) with Internet Explorer;;;
...Google Chrome uses proxy server if Internet Explorer is using proxy server; both IE and Google Chrome is sharing the same proxy server settings....
Link: Or you could just do as the image at the above listed link illustrates for users to do. A short cut.

I don't know what else to say. I'm not in front of your computer. I think if I was I'd probably be able to better deal this thing for you, myself.

chrome takes the proxy system settings which is very unfortunate in many cases. so no matter what os you are using just change the proxy for the whole system and chrome will use that
    Your account has been disabled.

They were going to change that some months ago. Don't know why it's so hard to do it as most major browsers already have their own proxy settings.

Well i spoke to my ISP, and they told me how to change my ip address, so i did. Then i created a new email address, new name, new ip address and then registered to the website i was banned from. So im on that wesbite now and my writing style on it is different as well, but how can i avoid being banned again, is there a way they will know its the same person.

First, scan your PC with antivirus and antispyware. Then, delete all your cookies, sessin history, cache, site preferences etc with CCleaner. Then, wipe the entire free space (or use Secure Sanitiser on FF 3.6.x )

Then, use an other browser (maybe your browser has been in some way fingerprinted),in private mode, with a not well knwon proxy (or a tunnel between your pc and the one of one of your friend), and a new email address from an other email provider, with obviously an other email ID. And on the forum, don't write on the same section as previously. Change your vocabulary, your syntax, your center of interest (at least at the beginning).

And if you use IPv6, spoof your mac address.
