Best game of mass efect serie for me... Graphics are amazing
And this summer we'll get a free DLC with just a few additional scenes. Which is basically the same for me!
But the thing is there can't be any "better" explanation for the way they ended the game!
When I reached the final choice in the ME3 i didn't know what to do.
Control the reapers? Maybe if mass relays didn't got destroyed in process. In my mind, if I control the reapers I can make them destroy themself.
Symbiosis ??? I fight the reapers trough 3 games and now we are supposed to be friends?
In the lack of options and increasing amount of frustration a thought crossed my mind, JUST KILL THEM ALL...
So I killed them all, closed the game, sit back, closed my eyes and pictured my ending in which:
I killed that boy with a headshot.
I choosed to control them, and made them kill themself by driving into sun.
Mass relays did not got destroyed (or if they did, I forced them to make new ones before I kill them).
Downloaded my consciousness into EDI like body, and watched The Reapers driving into sun while showing them the finger.

The thing is, in one of their previous DLC you destroy Mass Relay and it's said that when you destroy one, you destroy the whole galaxy. So every Mass Relay being destroyed in game doesn't make any sense at all!
@yoco:
actually, there are a lot of things that could have been explained better (meaning: in more detail and/or more clearly), fi. what happened to various characters/species, what was the aftermath of the relay destruction for all optional endings, more info/history on the catalyst and the related mechanisms, ending options,... - afaik the ending was rather abrupt and rushed, which was strange considering the overall amount of detail in the game(s), also it seems that the writers got somewhat lost/confused regarding the logic of the events so they just opted for a quick wrap-up as opposed to a more thorough explanationBut the thing is there can't be any "better" explanation for the way they ended the game!
no, you can't destroy a galaxy by destroying transit/transport devices, their destruction would have an effect similar to a supernova, so the resulting damage would be certainly inadequate to destroy even a few surrounding systems, let alone an entire galaxyyou destroy Mass Relay and it's said that when you destroy one, you destroy the whole galaxy.
@gu5t3r:
umm, pick one, reload the last save(game) and try all the other endings?When I reached the final choice in the ME3 i didn't know what to do.
which would probably destroy you too, since to control the reapers you would have to become one as well, sharing (and controlling) their collective - also, there is a good chance one would either like that kind of control or consider it as something quite natural (like a new family for a new chapter of life)if I control the reapers I can make them destroy themself.
its a symbiosis of synthetic & organic as a solution to their (supposed) adversity - as 2 become 1, their conflict disappears (has no purpose/meaning)Symbiosis ??? I fight the reapers trough 3 games and now we are supposed to be friends?
(head)shots won't work on 'holographic manifestations' (or whatever it was), besides, upon completing the mission there would be no reason to see him/it anymoreI killed that boy with a headshot.
btw. all that fuss about the game ending(s) is rather amusing (to observe), as it really doesn't matter how it ends as long as its decently entertaining (perhaps also reasonably logical too)
@slikaprid, you're right, I didn't write it right. Not the galaxy, but something like this
Which means every race that came to help save earth is either stuck their, on our little planet or they died.The consequences of destroying a mass relay are immense: as a huge mass effect engine manipulating massive quantities of energy, a relay could produce an explosion of supernova proportions. This proves true when during Arrival, a large asteroid is purposely steered into the Bahak system's Alpha Relay. The resulting impact tears apart the relay, causing an explosion which annihilates the Bahak system and kills its more than 300,000 inhabitants.
Is their any alternative ending coming for Mass effect 3 because I have heard from a friend that their will be an alternative ending coming for ME3.
