You're right I wasn't remembering TPS but in T-I the rank system you speak of (55%) is fairly recent, have been there long before it even existed and have never seen anything like that being offered, however I haven't been active there for a long time.

TPS is still online but it not as good as it used to be but I recommend just signing up to a small forum and make some friends. Some power user forum are alright but some trackers are snobbish and want only the best even if your a pu.They do a full "torrent background check" on you and need a statement on why you want in.

If you don't have any invite just start with what interview > what power user > what invite forum >most of the decent trackers.

It's easier to become PU on waffles and there are the same trackers.

Mhhh If I were the owner of a private tracker I would like to have a crowded one or a too elite one , I mean a solid user community so I can get donations pay the bills and gets some extra money. There suppose to be a business model for this sites ,right? I do not think they are not interested in getting money from their communities ,well maybe there are some cases that they just care of running a site(donations=bills) and spread internet piracy stuff but I think this model is not the one they want to persuade at least when they start their sites in most of the cases if I'm correct.

Another good forum not mentioned here is SB-I.

You can visit the giveaway forum here.

If you are a member, you can also visit the member invite forum.

The best thing is that you need not show any speed test or ratio proof for an invite. Just ask. :)

If anyone wants, I can tell my story about joining one of those invite forums said to be the best and finding how crap it actually was... again.

I got into HDChina (hope they'll be back soon), fux0r, BTN and Bibliotik (just to name a few) via invite forums. But considering how much time you have to spend basically just adding your obligatory blabla in every thread (like "I like that too, thanks for that great post" etc.) to become a "friendly and well-known member of the community" or whatever and also considering how much money I get from working, I think it would have been cheaper to buy the invites.
Now it's no problem any more, being PU at a few gazelle trackers I think I don't need invite forums any more at all.

I remember when I first joined my 2nd tracker invite place. This place here. Over time, it was actually got to be not that bad. Got some. Gave some. YOu know how it is. I was at TI for a while too. Had some real good forum buddies of mine get banned from there because for some unknown reason, they scammed everybody else. One good guy there gave me his KG account. I thought to myself Wow, man!!. Your awesome!!
    Then I came here.

Eventually reached the amount needed to be able to access them - it took me a while because I tried to keep my posts as constructive as possible. I noticed I had a few invites for some low-level but popular trackers, and though I'd share them to start bulding a reputation, since a lot of GAs had a minimum rep requirement. (I wasn't looking for any site in particular, but thought it'd be nice to have a potential backup in case I was banned in one of them)

Gave some invites away like that. I remember that on one of my giveaways, an important member told me "you should ask for an speedtest or ratio proof, the community rep here won't like that you're not doing it". I was like "what the..." - simply not used to it, since in my GAs here there's no need for that, but I played along.

Shortly afterwards, the forum went down. After a lot of things that weren't what they were supposed to be, they returned - on a backup from months ago, where all my posts and rep were gone. I then finished losing all my motivation to keep the account alive, and haven't logged in since then. And that's the end my my bad experience.

That and no-movement lists, the admin of another forum telling users "if the tracker staff asks, we don't exist at all", etc.
    Have fun!

Lol that kind of rings a bell about an invite forum I was on... same thing happened to me after they were attacked and had to use an old backup, lost all posts and rep... Still I got a lot of invites from there, as you said you just have to tag along and go by their rules and look like an invite bitch if you want to get some invites do decent trackers...

Yes, apparently making lots of giveaways is the gateway to being "trusted". More invites than people wanting to take them
