seems they messed up big time in the believability department here:

wakes up in the body of an unknown man

riiight, and the mind of the original body inhabitant has been, what, deleted, shoved aside, replaced, overridden?
what about the other passenger minds, if they are supposed to interact with him then they must also be restored and included in this virtual reality program, how can they change their behavior each time the session is repeated
what about the objects/environment around them, how can they accurately represent an unknown environment whose original and subsequent state(s) cannot be determined or even worse, how can it interact with these persons in a realistic way at all, allowing different results each time
what about the memory extraction, from the victims of an explosion no less, did they scoop the burnt brain fragments, glued them together and then extracted the memories from such remains, filling the missing parts with random data

how much do you think it takes a team of investigators to figure out a crime scene, let alone find all the answers needed concerning the crime perpetrators? i'd say a bit longer than 8 min.
also, why would a 'bomber' or any of his associates even be on the train, all they need to do is trigger the explosion remotely or via a timer device, ie. there is no evidence of their presence in that period of time prior to the explosion (or are they implying suicide bombers here, who likely aren't the masterminds behind it anyways) or does the bomb itself have a tag 'made by...'
then we have the attempt to save someone even though they already died long time ago implying that their 'living essence' is not a part of the body (but memories supposedly are?)

also, seems they didn't even bother to add some dream-like effects showing its an artificial illusion in progress...very sloppy work indeed

Ya. I have to agree.
This was developed by the 'unbelievability' department somewhere by someone in sunny California...too much sun suffrage, perhaps??
How does a program permit someone to inhabit another person in the last 8 mins of their life??.....I don't get it.

And why 8 mins??. ...Just because??
