Thumbs up Restamper: Change date and time stamps of files and folders

Restamper is a portable tool to change the file’s date/time stamp. Each file carries list of properties and attributes, including date/time stamps; created, modified, accessed, etc. As name suggests, it’s built to restamp these file’s properties seamlessly, Apart from this, folders and sub-directories can also be restamped and it also let you change the date/time stamp of read-only files.

This app+ is very very useful. I usually view my friends data, and whenever it happens it leaves behind my watermark. I can easily edit.
    Wow Thanks Gap0

what exactly is the purpose of modifying the time stamp of a file ? the only purpose I could think is to resurrect a trial version of software without need to install it again but what are other possible uses of changing time stamp.

There are a few uses. The "My Documents" folder is sorted by modification date here, and I've set the date of a few important files to late 2099 so that they're always "stickied" at the end of the list.
