I can, wonder if people will be interested i don't think is worth i develop something like userenity when it is around already, and edit him mod would be disrespect him so imo the best is owyn add it to userenity , and i can keep it updated as simple noupload for the ones who use it with a proxy tool or something and don't need userenity.Originally Posted by anon

cheatuga, 'no upload' mode is the the one a lot of people were waiting for! Don't be shy, be proud of yourself, go ahead and post it as anon suggested.
So this thing modifies only my upload and nothing else? Cause I installed it over my old original utorrent and now i intend to down only with this one.
Btw it's still showing that I'm upping with 3KB?

The mod only should make you don't upload, without affecting your download. With original you can limit your upload but it will affect your download speed too if is >= 6 kB/s and not sure if affect if you limit it higher, with this one you can set for unlimited and it shouldn't upload. (i'm still not sure about utp connections but it shouldn't)
Show some upload when downloading is normal , does it changes your upload in the torrent other than the upspeed?
What i mean when downloading is normal appear Upload speed since you are really sending information but that's related to the connections to seeders (handshakes etc) and you can be really not upload at all.
See if your upload at that torrent is increasing.

No upload means that this software wont report any upload data to the tracker right? will download be reported? i am sorry but i dont understand.. i would want the software to report my upload and not hide it.. where am i misinterpreting?

Yes you will need separtarate proxy tool for tracker communication such as Ratio Faker, Give Me Torrent or old GreedyTorrent

just interested, how come it's necessary to not upload at all, as opposed to just limiting it in regular youtube?
Who said no upload is necessary? It is coders experiment at the moment.
That affects your download speed.
In the thread i submitted there is a explanation why it's useful:
People who really don't want to upload without limit the utorrent but the main reason was for my own use with a proxy tool in order to only fake upload.
It has more uses but out of time atm to explain ....
E.g userenity with no upload fake upload speed based on connected peers, requested pieces, estimative peer avg. dl speed etc would be cool no?

Take me for instance. I was looking the whole time in my torrenting carrer how to stop my upload (cause of antip2p orgs, not cause I'm greedy)

So careful, that I banned 3 whole ranges :) + external ip block soft :)
One ipfilter protection layer is in my opinion enough. My average ipfilter has around 180000 ranges. It is what you choose to block rather than how many layers and ip ranges there are. Majority of the combined lists are blocking most idiotic ranges.
