Are we one of the largest trading sites on the net?

    According FSF, yes.

SB-Innovation, one of the largest trading sites on the net, provides a standard listing of the tracker levels. Keep in mind that the higher the level, the harder to obtain the tracker is, and the number in brackets next to the name is the overall rating on the tracker.
SB-Innovation.de — A general all-purpose filesharing board, SBI is German-based but has attained quite a following among English members. Besides being a forum that supports the discussion of ratio-cheating BitTorrent clients & uTorrent mods, SBI has a popular invite trading section that’s open to everyone (including Google).

so...you have over 1/10th of the total forum posts...?

anyway if you say it isn't popular then how many posts per day are made in a 'popular' invite trade forum?

Just look at FST's trading area, that's a popular trading forum.

I wasn't there in 2007, so I can't compare it with its supposed "golden days", but there's still a lot going on there, I think.

    but is it safe?

popular means you're going to get attention from all sides

not that I doubt sbi gets the same kind of attention too but it is different with a forum that has 50 posts in the trading sections per day and a forum that has 50 per month for example

Well, they've yet to shield themselves against Web bugs. So I guess not too much.

you mean the type of thing that if you write your email in public you're doomed to face hundreds of emails telling you just where to buy viagra, drugs and rolex watches at the lowest price available?

or are those spambots? I don't really know the terms when it comes to bots and stuff

I was talking about invisible IP-catching pixels.

you mean that some tracker owner could inject some code to fst to make it so it reports back to them the IP of everyone that accesses the page?

I've probably accessed it some times through google, heck I even had bookmarked a utorrent troubleshoot thread and nothing's happened

I'm not saying it happens 100% of the time, but it's possible.

heck, I've spent some time looking at sites' source codes (yeah I know, I have no life) and I've seen 1x1 pixel images and other stuff I could not comprehend, does that mean they all could be things like this?
