    Confidence System

    What is it?
It's a system that allows to control upload speeds of multiple torrents at the same time, making cheating easier when you have a lot of torrents in the list.
    How does it work
It works based on the maximum upload speed per tracker and the trust you have in each torrent.
    Interface

    Smilies:
N = Do not use confidence system, means the torrent will run manually controlled by you
1 = Low trust in that torrent, the program should be careful with speeds on that torrent
5 = It's a good torrent to cheat on, the program should give higher speed to that torrent

    Trackers:
Controls the maximum upload speed per tracker, means the total speed of all torrents associated with the tracker with at least '1' smiley should never go higher than the specified value.
    Default maximum speed is 100Kb/s.
    In Practice

    1. After adding a torrent, define the trust you have on it.
For example, you can give an old torrent or a torrent with low peers/leechers 1 or 2 smilies, while a torrent with lots of peers can be given 3 or 4 smilies, finally if you know thats a very good torrent to cheat on you can give it 5 smilies.
    2. Do that to every torrent you want the program to automatically control.
    3. Now go to trackers speeds, and define the maximum upload speed per tracker.
    4. Start the torrents and you will notice they are fully automatic on upload speed.

    Example:

    Torrents:

Torrent / Tracker / Number smilies:
    • a - TL, 2 smilies
    • b - TL, 4 smilies
    • c - TL, 0 smilies
    • d - FTN, 1 smiley
    • e - FTN, 0 smilies
    • f - TL, 1 smiley

    Trackers:
    • TL max upload speed = 200 Kb/s
    • FTN max upload speed = 35 Kb/s

    For the program this means:
    • Torrent, c and e, don't have smilies so they are manually controlled by the user, the system as no effect on them.
    • Upload speeds, a + b + f < 200Kb/s
    • d upload speed < 35 Kb/s
    • Because torrent b as 4 smilies is upload speed is going to be bigger than torrent a and torrent f that have less smilies.
    • b upload speed > a upload speed > f upload speed but all speeds together are less than 200kb/s

    Note:
Changing the maximum upload speed per tracker, adding a new torrents or changing the trust on any torrent makes the program reevaluate the speeds.
    How To Disable/Avoid Confidence System

All torrents should be 0 smilies (N), if you want you can hide the trackers by pressing right click and deselecting "Show Trackers".

As much as I appreciate having an alternative to RatioMaster, this is kinda convoluted. Smilies, a "confidence system," having to left click and hold to access the functions? It's a little daunting compared to both RM and the older mRatio. Are there any UI changes in the cards? No disrespect intended, but there is room for improvement.

The confidence system is an intelligent throughput system, I have been using these tools for the time Ive been with SBI and thats not long, however I can say I am very familiar with these various "cheat systems". The248 has improved a lot on RM's facilities, safe to say you may not be comfortable with using an advanced automated cheat system like this. It just takes a little getting used to.

Just for the record, I assure you every version in the 3.x branch has been heavily tested. The248 received tons of feedback, both on the functionality and user interface, from the different users that had access to the tool before this release.

Of course, if you have any specific suggestions, I'm sure he will welcome them.

It's a setting for speed limitation of tracker ,I should set overall upload speed 980 KB/s for tracker .

    ---------- Post added at 21:05 ---------- Previous post was at 21:03 ----------

    One tracker can detect it.

More details on point number two, please.

I mean, we don't even know the tracker's name.

Close all torrents, wait an hour for the next tracker cleanup, then try again.

TheEmpire.bz torrents are causing mRatio to crash
Some torrents give this error, others do not
Critical: No data received from the tracker
Whether or not the torrent giving the above error is loaded or not, as long as a torrent from TheEmpire.bz is loaded, mRatio will crash after roughly 30min

    The248, I cant find "mRLog.txt" in v3.0.10 so I can upload it

The new mR is safer, faster, smaller and less painful on your system.
That involved a complete remake from scratch, sure the older one is more "normal" but this one is more efficient.
You can start/stop a torrent with 1 press of the mouse, in previous version you needed at least 2 mouse clicks.
You can control hundreds of torrents speeds with 1 mouse click, on the previous version you need hundreds of click.
You rarely need to access "stats", "options", "about" or even "add", so that menu being hidden means more free space. And you can set the time it takes to appear. If you make it appear faster you will with practice access functions faster than the previous version.
I could go on and on with the comparisons ...

It's just different and it takes time to adapt
But I'm all ears if you have any suggestion ...

Didn't a message like this appeared?
"mRatio has encountered a problem and cannot continue running.
Information about the problem were saved on 'mRLog.txt'.
Send that info to the programmer so it can be fixed quickly."

If yes the file must exist
If no are you using mR on mono? does it also crash if you stop the torrent?
