The key new capabilities in the Flash Player "Square" Preview Release are:

64-bit support — Native support for 64-bit operating systems and 64-bit web browsers on Linux, Mac OS, and Windows.
Internet Explorer 9 hardware accelerated rendering support — Enhanced support for Internet Explorer 9 Beta. It takes advantage of hardware accelerated graphics in Internet Explorer 9 Beta, utilizing hardware rendering surfaces to improve graphics performance and enable seamless composition.

Also if you are using x64 mozilla firefox 4.0 beta 6 or newer x64 flash may become handy!
I also noticed performance boost.

Opera has already great performance, and 32bit wersion woks flawlessly at 64bit os i am not sure if it needs 64 bits in the near future.

Flash Player 10.2.161.23 Square Preview 2 if you are on preview 1 make an update this one contains security fixes and debug builds.

Flash 10.1 was milestone - GPU acceleration support made it really good
Flash 10.2 x64 and IE9 support and it is even lighter than 10.1

I think You mean HTML5.
Html5 will have one large advantage the security. Flash has many, I mean MANY holes.
