I came across a few "how to disable [Feature Name] Tracking in Chromium" tutorials.
The problem is that I do not fully know the list of tracking features present in Chrome or Chromium. But some stand, that's for sure.
On the other hand, Iron does take care of most if not all of those features, so why not? It is the same source after all :)

True, but Iron is quite behind on Chrome and Chromium.

most of "tracking" you can disable in options

    Chromium
is open-sourced and pretty clear, you can just open all the source and check yourself ^_^

+ google said it gonna remove uniq id
Unique client ID on Chrome browser will be required for first update, says Google

I've always been unique there and I have just tested it again.

Unique in Chrome, Firefox, Opera and even Internet Explorer (and I stopped testing there). So much for whining about the uniqueID in Chrome, I guess!

At least being unique in that test isn't an intentionally-coded feature

SR Iron Version 6.0.475 released today

Yes iron is usually not head to head as far as stable releases go (not to mention beta ones). Nevertheless there is usually not that much span, a month at the most.
    I can live with that.
There are some other Chromium based browsers but those are way way outdated (1+ year!!)
The only other alternative I know (as to other browser choices besides the obvious) is Arora. Haven't used it for a while though

I appreciate you bringing up this topic, it was actually one of my questions when I first read a review on Chrome. Now that I know about Chromium, I'llcheck that out at as well. Although now I'm confused if that really offers any advantages or not. Anyone have any prove or actual comparisons?

I'd stick with SRWare Iron for now, per the advantages stated. Chromium browser seems to have the same issues, though you can edit it yourself. But most don't know how. That's why I'd stick with SRW.
