yes, and that's how they're made, but you need to change other values, changing the version number without taking care of other values = carrying a ban me flag for trackers that aren't stupid.

I don't think there is a guide here for public viewing,
because what's the point in making client files members-only if we're making a "how to guide", you see :) ?

Is this still applies in the new version uTorrent 3.1 Build 26650 ?
- Fix: Show conversions node after showing the hidden Category Tree devices node
- Fix: Update Bandwidth allocation menu after user change [GUI]
- Fix: AV column would show up again even if user hid it

Awesome. I've actually been looking for that. I've been editing the client files myself to make them match the info provided in the utorrent about window... but I've had no idea about some options in the client file. Glad to get one made by someone who knows what they are doing.

So, it is interesting to know is working with client version uTorrent 3.1 Build 26616 (and above) the same safe as with earlier versions?

What's the safest uTorrent version to go with this mod?

PS:Sorry for the OT, are there any tools/mod in Linux platform which lets you cheat without downloading the whole torrent?
