Well wasnt the PS3 being hacked going to happen eventually. Sony had a 10 year term for the ps3 it needed to be hacked sometime, and already it seems the ps3 jailbreaking is already very popular so it looks like it has a bright future.

you can get those usb jailbreaking keys for about 50 euros, including shipping.
the problem just is, that they are sold out practically everywhere.

    why it is a problem ?? + it's expensive for a usb !
but the ps3 must have a big hard disk to store all 40 gb games !!

It's been finally "cracked", well sort of. It seems that this method puts the system in debugger mode, which is able to run unsigned code. Well, Sony was fast and released a sneaky "mandatory" system update which patches the whole thing and crashes the party. I believe the hardest part was done, now I think hackers would try to figure out a way to build a modchip or something that will bypass any future updates.

And there's a lot of clones being released everywhere, along with cheap diy solutions.

Not all games are pressed on blu-ray media and some don't even use the whole DVD.
