    VLC media player - Audio- & Video-Player

    Bei Version 1.1.3 handelt es sich um ein Bugfix-Release, das einige störende Fehler beseitigt. Konkrete Angaben werden im Changelog gemacht.


    Changelog:

    * Taglib crash (CVE-2010-2937 / VideoLAN-SA-1004) / VideoLAN - VideoLAN Security Advisory 1004
    * Fixes for FTP relative paths and directories
    * Fixes for Podcast and DVD modules
    * Extensions and scripts updates
    * Miscellaneous fixes in interfaces
    * Updated translations
    * ... and many other crashes and errors fixed

    vlc always gives me problem when watching anime.. when episode ends i always have to kill its process

    i just use it because of its crop and volume option

    I have still problems to watch 1080p movies on VLC ( to slow)...can someone give me a tipp how to set the VLC or do you know i better palyer?

    I've noticed that too that VLC crashes on pretty much every instance. I decided to go back to an earlier version of vlc and it doesn't crash as often but it still does nevertheless. Somehow, VLC's stability changed quite a bit since their newer version.

    On non PC computers, I see no choice but VLC when you want headache free play-all video player.
    On a PC, I would have ditched it in a hearbeat. Even Perian does not come close (for those that get my lingo :)

    ich habe auch das problem mit den hd filmen, hab seitdem den haali media splitter & ffdshow in verbindung mit dem MPC - mit dem paket läuft es nahezu optimal
    würde es dennoch was bringen coreavc zu nutzen? bzw. welche vorteile bietet es?

    hey danke, den km player hatte ich damals auch,hab ihn aber inzwischen völlig vergessen. werde mir den gleich mal wieder anschauen, vlt is das eine alternative zu vlc oder mpchc

    Wenn man unter Video-Settings auf OpenGL-Wiedergabe wechselt, so kann man bei einer potenten Grafikkarte, einen Performance-Schub erwarten.
