I just tried firefox-4.0b3pre.en-US.linux-x86_64 out. Works good, fast. Now it uses the old firefox profile, it doesn't create a new one, so the bookmarks and addons are automatically there. Only adblock and noscript is working from all my firefox addons, and i have a lot of addons
Works faster also because it doesnt have to load all that bunch of addons, it's x64... Hidemenubar addon doesnt work, autohidestatusbar addon, all-in-one sidebar... YET

The OSX doesn't create a new profile, it uses the existing info.

If you have any questions, ask in the Opera thread. I'll be happy to help.

Fame comes by itself. Look at how many users Chrome managed to get shortly after its first release, and that was almost two years ago.

Would the same have happened if some unknown company had coded it instead of Google? I don't think so. It'd have gone the path of browsers like K-Meleon, which is actually pretty decent yet no one seems to talk about it.

Yeah, Google has a big influence on a wide range of people, because everyone knows it. I mean.. it's Google...
You could type whatever you want in google's search and there will always be google's ads about chrome etc..etc...
