Installing mac(the noob way)

So after seeing cheatos's success at installing that thing I'm gonna try doing this again.
First of all There are those kext files?
You have to choose them according to your hardware.Good I already knew that.
How about you tell me how to pick exactly the right one I need and where to download these?
Also what installation method should I use?
There's a billion on google.

all depends on your hardware. the closer to a real mac the better

Alternative: Everest Ultimate, IMHO it's the best. Edit; you was faster..

You've higher chances with an Intel CPU/GPU and/or Nvidia-GPU, but also possible with kernels which are made for AMD.

You use AMD.
try this boot disc:

Download Empire EFI V.1085 (Experimental for AMD Phenom and Athlon X2 , X3 , X4 and for Intel Core i3/Pentium D/Pentiu m 4 6xx series)

notice its experimental

you use Athlon?
if yes, here is the boot CD:

Get the osx from TL.
burn it
burn the cd

boot Cd
remove it
insert osx
install
cross your fingers

----after installation---

be SURE to install chameleon from the post-install folder in the mounted EFI disc.
(use the iHack installer(included with EFI) and install other things such as network, mouse..etc)

---after the first reboot---

what did i do to enable my 8800GT?
the 8800GT is an official Mac-supported card, so i ran OSX86 Tools and clicked on 'something about strings' i rebooted and got the high resolution and performance.

for other hardware, be sure to have a backup computer, get Kext files from insanelymac.com
and use the Kext helper tool with OSX86Tools program.

(NOTE: i got OSX86tools separately)
