it's pretty logical then.
an HD tracker tracks torrents that are minimum (in most cases) 4.5 GB per torrent
if you don't grab 2 movies a month you really don't need an HD tracker.

Not really. Nowadays, I only register on a tracker when there's a strong proponent to do so. This way I avoid making accounts I'll never use again, which is a waste of bandwidth.
