I have heard many times that Trilightzone VPN is scam and they give/sell your traffic details for third parties.

I dont know about Trilightzone VPN, but if you buy an ACC and make a Review, then I could add it to my list.
This list is not only based on simple data of their websites, it is based on real user-experience.

Well, rumours tell that trilightzone is connected somehow with Privacy.li - Anonymous Surfing, Offshore hosting, Secure Storage & Privacy Domains who does have a poor reputation.

I just want to warn others about trilightzone.

okay, this information could be helpful for the SB-I-Users.

However, I would still recommend that users who want to pay for a VPN-Service, should first of all check the reviewed VPN-Services.

All other users, which are looking for a free & fast service, could also check the second post of this thread.

Indeed a great list, I have moved the posts to a separate thread so that it's easier to find.

    * Privacy.li and Trilightzone have indeed a very bad reputation.

    * Cofunder of TorrentFreedom has been arrested recently, so I think it's not a great idea to use his services at this moment.

    * A non listed interesting vpn is s6n.org:
    costs: 5€/month, via paypal
Servers are in Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Spain, USA.
Vpn are PPTP or OpenVPN, running on port 443 (UDP or TCP could be chosen)
Spain is a relaxed destination for P2P, as at this moment spanish law allow UL and DL of copyrighted data under the condition it's not for commercial purpose.

Just choose a VPN-Service from my above trusted Reviews-List, which fits good to your overall surfing behaviour.

You dont have to use unknown / unreviewed services like trilightzone etc.

Your list is very interesting, but on a methodological point of view, what are the criteria allowing to say that such or such vpn provider is trustworthy?

I have 2 others (almost opposite) questions:

    1) About Anonine. You say "no log" but "they share your data". I was not aware of that (data sharing) concerning Anonine. Where did you get that?

    2) About Ipredator & Relakks. Ipredator doesn't keep log, but Relakks does, and Ipredator uses the Relakks infrastructure. So, logs are kept, not by Ipredator's operators, but by Relakks ?

More generally, if avpn provider says "we keep no log", does it really matter, as the Vpn provider's ISP certainly does ?

I would think ISPs won't log traffic from commercial users, due to the massive amount of disk space that may require.

    ...
    I specify them for you...

    1)
Anonine: They Share this data: Payment Data (The way you paid, your paying details), but they only share if you commit an infringement (break the law) which could bring you for minimum 2 years into pris*n.

    2)
    Ipredator: Logging:No--> Check This

Relakks: Logging: Yes, 3 months. They share all your applying data.
That means all the data which you gave them by joining Relakks, but only if you commit an infringement (break the law) which could bring you into pris*n (time in pris*n not specified).
Furthermore they will share your IP if you break the law in a very hard way with getting at least 2-years in Pris*n.
    Pris*n-Info--> Check This

They're both using the same technical-structure, but they have not the same logging-system (ipredator: not logging).

IN THE ABOVE REVIEWS, IF I SAY 'THEY SHARE YOUR DATA', THAT MEANS TO BE CAREFUL WITH THE VPN-Service. These tagged VPNs share your Applying-Data and/or IPs and/or Payment-Details.

I hope I could answer your questions.

Maybe, but I'm not completely sure: If an ISP is already keeping logs of tens of millions of home users, keeping logs of thousands or even hundreds of thousands connections of vpn providers will not add a big amount of charge.

An other question is: What kinds of logs are kept ? Not the entire datastream for sure, but what exactly ? All informations such that "Ip xxxx connected to ip yyyy through port p at 10h12mn53s until 10h42mn53s" ??

If unsure, assume the worst possible scenario and act accordingly. This works for real life as well.

Well, I've never worked for an ISP, but if they don't log the actual data it should look more or less like that, maybe a bit of extra info added in.

You say that anonine share data. If they do not keep any logs, then how can they share ip address. And do you mean to say that Surfonym, Trackbuster, Perfect-Privacy, Ivacy, IPREDATOR do not share any data if requested or ordered by authorities?

Btw, which of the above will give the best performance with emule.
