Yes its naive, yes its stupid, but funny, you can not get bored because each episode is short.
First episode seems to be best of three aired so far.

Styled to be like Frank Miller 300(which i consider to be a poor movie with elements of Gladiator).
Adult content, adult language, nudity violence, blood, comic like style.
Half naked people running in the snow like it was Summer, long and boring monologues. Blood splashing ridiculously. Always the same sky, home made like edition, endless cursing and more. Even John Hannah performance won't make it. IMHO 1960 Spartacus with memorable role of Kirk Douglas beats Spartacus:Blood and Sand with realism and intriguing plot... My point of view on Spartacus:Blood and Sand - foobar and ridiculous time-waster. BUT if you enjoyed 300(de gustibus non est disputandum)you may even enjoy it...
