This exactly what I mean: why 1.8.5 when you can use 1.6.1? 1.6.1 isn't supported on all trackers from what I know.
Not really, 2.2.1 was already in the process of being crappified.
I considered 1.6.1, but it's vulnerable to that DoS exploit involving a malformed client ID string.

I have tested 1.6.1 and for some reason it partially slows down the PC to a crawl. So utorrent is downloading at full speed and if I wanna start a program it delays it for several seconds (very close to a minute). It's not responding. Different cache management or what?
I used 1.6.1 for while but never had that problem. But I got no loading times at all cause of my SSD
Strange as I don't have this problem in other versions except this one. I don't think it has anything to do with the type of storage one has.
Any ideas as to why ut 1.8.5.17414 (SB-I leecherpack) is not working? Gives me utorrent stopped working? The error is given twice.

worst thinve ever used/... so many bugs.. eats more cpu... in my case doesn't exit when i click exit button and moreever i can't end its process from task manager too... then if u want to start it .. it won't start coz the process is already running.. on the top of that does'nt even asks me where to pt the download...
then i downgraded to 2.2.1 n m happy with it..
forgot to mention plus their annoying toolbar which they ask you to install while installion... plus other annying things.. their stream feature makes download speed slow too
