    I just lost a bunch of tabs again, and I don't care anymore.

    I just lost everything I had open in my netbook, and I don't care anymore.

    Nah, I actually do. I hope MR can release his Windows 7 soon so that I can send my current install to hell.

    I just taught my uncle to download music from the Internet using Groovedown. He was like "wooooooow". Took me some time to make sure he remembers all the steps, but it was pretty cool.

    What amazes me besides all the people ignoring the little girl is the fact that the second motorist asshole drives over the kid. What a lowlife.
    Sadly, this is true not only of china but everywhere else too. The whole world is turning into a bad place.

    @ErRor
    I am sorry for your loss :( . I can feel your pain cause I lost my only dog when I was relatively young. That is the saddest feeling. I haven't had the courage to get another dog fearing that I might lose it again :( .

    I'm a big supporter of that theory.

    Sorry to hear about your cat, Error. Mihai lost his some days back, too. I never had a pet, but I imagine you're quite struck.

    it has been a pretty nasty place for quite some time (at least for a few millennia) - currently its simply mutating from one form of 'nasty' into another, with no signs of some general/overall 'recovery'

    as a side note to the above, it can be said that the western society has a pretty unhealthy 'relationship' to the subject of death (prejudice might be an accurate term), where a perfectly natural event is viewed as something devastating/traumatizing, something that should be fought by any means and prevented at all costs, instead of trying to understand/realize what is it all about, what is its real meaning/significance - yet another sign of a degrading/degraded society: one that deals the least with that which is most important (fundamental), ie. deals the most with that which is superficial
    Thanks

    How many toothpicks does it take to stop a Tiger? Awesome Ad from AVG AntiVirus.
    A surprisingly nice ad from an antivirus company. It makes the point that together we protect us from digital threats.
    While the cage provided protection with 3.5 Million toothpicks, the antivirus protection provided by AVG comes from its 98 Million users.

    Ordinary toothpicks stuck together in some kind of puzzle arrangement might make it. Glue might too. But it would probably need to be some super-glue type of product.
