    anonymous email

hi, i am looking for a fast and easy way to send an anonymous email from win(7).
there are some online web solutions, but the free ones hanging always some signature to the send email like "send via anonymousspeech.com bla bla".
so i need something without that and if possible an automatic reply address that i can choose, so the recepient just needs to click on answer and the email is send automatically to my email address.

now i did find miximinion which seems to be working and nice, but when sending a mail i am never sure if the mail is coming through (there is also no indication in the gui when pressing "send mail".

the sent/received mail then looks like this:

    HEADER:
    [Anon] myself@mymail.de" <nobody@remailer.ecn.org>

    BODY:
    -----BEGIN TYPE III ANONYMOUS MESSAGE-----
    Message-type: plaintext

this is a test and not something else.
    mixminion
    >>>>>
    sent by dsjhdjhjfhf
    -----END TYPE III ANONYMOUS MESSAGE-----
so this is also not really what i want because of the "from" showing [anon] and the nobody@remailer..

anyone ones of a good free solution?
what are you using for untracable mails?

    maybe you can try this:

Your IP address is not passed in the message header so your identity remain hidden and the email recipient will never know who exactly sent that message and from where.
Write a note - note2email.com - Send quick notes to your email address in one easy step.

umm how about disposable mail services. There is ton of these online, it is completely untraceble. You can even use proxy and be 200% anonimous.

oh I don't understand his motives quite well (and misread post) :/

Maybe he could register any free mail service and use it over proxy. Dunno.

You can always telnet your favorite SMTP server on port 25 and send the headers and message yourself.

The program Topmail seems to be what you're looking for, I just couldn't find an open server to test it.

There are no open servers :)
    Spam killed them all.

    thx for the suggestions.
this looks easy and fast, no signature added, thanks!
i will use this, until there is another way to aproach somehow, that the "reply to" can be selected by me with an email of my choice.

    disposable emails just receive
yep, that would be great if there is one that does send also (yopmail ie does only send to another yopmail address).

webfreemailer+proxy is quite a hassle before it is ready (starting, connecting, starting browser, login in), but of course an alternative.

isnt there some successor to miximinion? or a more configurable gui (without the additional stuff been added to the mail)?

the telnet thing anon mentioned will maybe work if there are smtp servers available?

You can also send a email through Tor but only with the add-on ProxyButton! TLS Port 587 should work.

Yes, but as supermarrioh said, the problem will be finding an open SMTP server. This isn't 2002 when I last sent an anonymous e-mail message through one ^^

hm strange, now a signature is added that includes the ip you typed your mail from..
so this is then useless for the purpose.
seems then like the easiest solution would be to access a free mail provider via online proxy..
