I just tried using a Bulgarian proxy to access the tracker and it worked, so I'm pretty sure it's a routing issue. If you want to keep your account alive in the meantime, use this. It won't let you announce torrents, though.

Don't worry about having the same IP as other proxy users, Zamunda doesn't really care about double accounts. I created my dupe while logged in to the first one

If it's a routing issue like I think it is, that'd be explained by the proxy's location.

I heard they banned all countries except for themselves... Well, it still works fine with proxies.
Try this: install foxyproxy addon for firefox, tools>options>advanced>network settings>manual proxy configuration> try 89.215.247.40:3128
Problem with these proxies is that they don't last long. I need to change them pretty often. But there is no other option I can see (except this what anon mentioned, webproxy)

I read on FILEnetworks that their tracker works fine for everyone. So you could visit the tracker with the proxy and download with your real IP.

I think downloading .torrents should work with most proxies. They have a file size limit, but metadata shouldn't weight more than a few hundred KBs, depending on piece size.

I guess Zamunda will see a surge of users coming from the same IP until they're back up

I still can't download without proxies. I'll just have to wait then.

You could try a bulgarian HTTP proxy to announce:
    89.215.247.40:3128
    212.117.63.145:3128
I'd use a separate uTorrent instance for Zamunda torrents, though - you don't want all your trackers to think you just "moved" to Bulgaria.
