List of good servers as of May 2020:

    Code:
*removed, see my latest post for an updated list*
Many new servers have showed up lately. They don't seem fake, and I don't think eMule is big enough of a target to set up "operations" against it nowadays, but it has happened in the past (Sonny Boy, Pirate's Lair, etc.) so I wouldn't blame anyone for being cautious. These are listed separately and highlighted in red for your convenience.

You should put it in green or blue color. If I see something in red, I think it's either dead, deleted, gone, etc.

I think red is the only color that is readable on all forum skins

I use LPE. It's very lightweight and it works.

The official eMule client hasn't been updated in ten years, and the changes in "community version" are relatively minor, so as long as your mod of choice is based on 0.50a it won't be outdated.

Anyway, to help start your eMule journey(?), here's a list of good servers as of July 2020.

    Code:
*removed, see my latest post for an updated list*
There's been an increase in the amount of active servers in the last few months. I was skeptical at first, but so far there is no evidence of them being fake or monitored, so I went all out and included everything.

Recently had to blow the dust off my eMule install. Good servers for September 2021, with fake, dead and insecure ones removed.

Do you know if TvUnderground or ShareTheFiles (or others ed2k links indexers) have been reincarnated somewhere???

Please don't tell me ShareTheFiles has shut down, because 1. it's not loading for me here, 2. it was working at the time I made my previous post, 3. they are the only eD2K indexer I know that is (was?) still operational

According website-down and several other sites like that, ShareTheFiles is really down for now. Let's hope it's only temporary...

I cross-checked with viewdns.info, and confirmed they're completely unresponsive. At least their A record still exists and there are no recent changes on their IP history.

Like Franco, STF and TVU are still dead. I found therostrum.net looking for details about the downtime (which were basically inexistent). It seems very good, but then again there aren't many other indexers to compare it against.
