If you mean eXPer1ence's future release, that's up to you They're very lightweight, but due to the removed stuff some programs may not work.

you should grab the BIE Release
    This is the better group
grab the release that was pred a few hours ago
    the "Integrated October" Release
u only have to choose if you want to have the X86 oder X64 Rel
    both are updateable and stable

I have been using 7 for a month. It's the best OS I used so far, waaay faster and more stable than Vista, and it has a lot of small - yet very useful - new functionalities. If you're still doubtful about it, trust me: it worths a try =)

I also have win 7 and i must say that it don't disappoint me. I used vista omg so many problems so many troja. an virus. A negative poit for w.7 is the price, it's to expensive. I mean it's just an update for win. vista and they want 100 euro.

I have delayed getting a new Laptop. In order to have Windows 7 OEM with it. Now I see from the review that it deserves it.

I have been using windows 7 right from beta. Its a solid OS. What vista should have been from the beginning in my opinion, i wonder what all if any additions will be in the final release. Possibly see the new version will pop up soon *crossing fingers*

Been using Win 7 since the beta first came out, and the last month and a bit with the official version from MSDN (gotta love access to that since im at uni ).

Anyways, regarding the digitally signed driver issue with 64bit. If you dont mind installing unsigned drivers, you can override the enforcement of them. The NGO driver team created an application that will let you turn win 7 into test mode, and then allow you to install a signed driver once you give it a file path. Then you can turn test mode off again. I have never had any issues with it, but always remember to be cautious of what you install.

Windows 7 is quite solid, i haven't really had many issues with the OS. Though originally there were codec problems, so if you are having any issues take a look at this codec pack created just for windows 7 (includes 64 bit components).
