100 of the Best Free File Hosting Upload Sites

Not everything that’s out there can be found as a torrent - that’s why release blogs and warez forums do amazingly well. Warez-bb.org alone offers literally millions of separate topics, with each one containing a downloadable release - numbers that by far eclipse even the most prolific public torrent indexers. So where are all these releases being offered for download? On those so-called 1-Click Hoster sites. Here’s a current list of the top 100 free file hosting sites on the ‘net.

Until it becomes popular and they need to add restrictions/Premium/etc. like RS does...

Me too, although I don't mind waiting too much, and thanks to Rapidshare Plus I don't even notice wait times.

I just hate how RS has gone bad for premium users lately, I have premium account and I gotta say the speeds are very shi*ty. I really don't know if it's my ISP throttling me down, probably not. Lately, whereas I get my max down speed on healthy torrents I can't get more than 70% my max speed on RS with premium. Well at least I can't complain much since this 30 day premium I have was earned on a forum, but after seeing that, I would never subscribe.

Yes, that happens sometimes. And you have to wait until RS realizes it's no longer uploading a file to your IP, so that then the wait times kick in again...

i would say that rapidshare still holds the crown as the majority of the uploads seem to be on it, not to mention the automated download ability with tools like the RSD

also, many of the one click hoster links can be automatically checked with useful web sites like tubenow.net (a real time & nerve saver)

I just hate how RS has gone bad for premium users lately, I have premium account and I gotta say the speeds are very shi*ty
afaik the total download amount is also quite limited

the worst thing considering one click hosters (OCHs) is that some tend to have crc errors that can't be fixed by re-downloading the files - happened to me with mediafire and uploaded.to

as for this article, it can benefit only uploaders when deciding to choose their upload size, for everyone else it would be more interesting to know what speeds are to be expected, waiting time, limits, captcha and so on
