I read the article. It's basically a big fish net that gets shot at a boat. A neat idea, I think.
But I am wondering if it'll actually work when you have, lets say... if the boat is swerving to and fro to avoid being nabbed. Manovers like that would make it kind of difficult to capture suspects, yes??
Or even if the boat has 2 props on either side of the boat's backend. What about situations like that??

It says it's developed for speed Boats so i assume they tested such options.Question is how fast can it shoot...

and what happened to torpedos/missiles, interception boats, EM pulses, high-power sniper rifles, underwater barriers, mines, suicide dolphins/sharks and such?
