Moreover, one has to forward GRE protocol, too (I no more forget it now, because this was the reason why my firsts attempts with pptp vpn have failed).

With my behind a router tests, forwarding that port was enough.

Of course, I had to enable a bunch of RAS and TAPI services that don't usually run in my computer for PPTP to work correctly. Another of the reasons I love OpenVPN!

All ports are open and there no headaches from such free services as above mentioned.
