    With my behind a router tests, forwarding that port was enough.

    Of course, I had to enable a bunch of RAS and TAPI services that don't usually run in my computer for PPTP to work correctly. Another of the reasons I love OpenVPN!

    I use torrent vpn service for such purposes.
    All ports are open and there no headaches from such free services as above mentioned.
