Fake DRM at Demonoid torrents

There have been reports of torrents including an info file that states that the file came from Demonoid.com, and that you need to 'install a DRM identifier' in order to play a video file. Those files are fakes, and someone is trying to make you install some trojan. If you come accross one of those, delete them and report them in the tracker or indexing site you got them from so they can remove them

Being careful with what you get off public trackers should always be a rule of thumb, anyway.

Yeah, every OS reinstall on my windows machine has been due to some junk gotten off a public tracker. This is one of the reasons I am hesitant to use them anymore. As an added safety measure, I generally make sure that the files has several snatches and a few good comments if it's on Demonoid. Besides, with a few snatches, it usually has more seeders too.
