Funktioniert leider nicht auf allen Seiten.
Getestet auf BitMe

-Fakeup
Es wird eine 2 bzw 5 oder 8 vor eurem Upload gehängt.
Begrenzt deshalb am besten euren Upload auf 9kB/s.

-Multi
Euer Upload wird mal 11 bzw. 111 genommen.
Ich würde euch empfehlen euer Uploadlimit auf 6 bzw 1 zu stellen.

-DHT-Patch
Ignoriert die "Private Flag" und lässt euch DHT und PEX für private Torrents aktivieren.
(Verwendet diese Option nur wenn ihr wisst was ihr tut)


Explanation:

-NoComplete:
The completed flag isn't sent to the tracker.
There is no entry in the snatchlist.

-Report-Seeder:
You are shown as a seeder directly.
Your download isn't reported to the tracker.

-NoReport-Leecher:
Your upload and download aren't reported to the tracker.
You're shown as a leecher missing one RAR part.
You may want to make uTorrent stop torrents when they're finished:

(Options -> Preferences -> Queueing)
Tested on TB

-NoReport-Seeder:
Your upload and download aren't reported to the tracker.
You are shown as a seeder.

-NoReport-Tracker:
Your upload and download aren't reported to the tracker.
You are also not shown in the peerlist.
Unfortunately it doesn't work on all trackers.
Tested on BitMe

-Fakeup:
There is a 2, 5 or 8 in front of your upload speed,
which you should limit to 9kB/s.

-Multi:
Your upload speed is multiplied by 11 or 111.
I recommend you limit it to 6kB/s.

-DHT-Patch
Ignores the private flag, letting you enable DHT and PEX for private torrents.
(Only use it if you know what you're doing)

A question: I had the previous version 1.9 alpha 14981 running with some torrents; while I only need to use one particular executable, should I uninstall it before upgrading, or can I just overwrite the old version?

you dont need to overwrite, just extract this version to his own folder. the settings are stored in one place where every utorrent version have access to it.

Just for the record, if you want to store the settings in the mod's folder, move it elsewhere and create an empty file called settings.dat.

If you don't use that trick, they're stored at %appdata%\uTorrent.

I have another idea: rename the folder appdata\uTorrent to appdata\uTorrentOLD or whatever you want to call it, then run the exe you need; if one day you wish to use the old version, delete the new uTorrent folder and rename the uTorrentOLD folder to uTorrent again

You'll have to reconfigure uTorrent again. Copying only settings.dat to the new folder should do, though.

I often run the DHT-Patch for 8+ hours on my computer without problems, and yes, I'm using the "stupid, unstable, useless" packed mod.

Do a search ("<tracker name> <mod name>" would be a good start). There are different mods, some can be detected, some others can't.
