The settings logic in the mod has gone through a few changes since I last updated this tutorial on April 2018. If I'm to make corrections, I'd like to recheck everything first and make sure we're set for another six years

It is now I'd also like to write something about getting the correct Java runtime to be detected by the mod, since that has apparently caused lots of trouble for lots of people.

What would be the recommended options for sites like BitSpyder where there are really less leechers and its hard to improve ratio legitimately ?

1. Where do i actually see my fake uploads / ratio within the tool ?
2. Is there way to disable auto-start downloading as soon as a torrent is added to the client? (so that i can select settings that i want and then start )

Depends exclusively on which strategy you want to follow.

Double-click a torrent and you'll find the Info tab. You also can (and likely should) add the corresponding columns to the My Torrents view. Note user mode must be set to advanced to make all of them available.

2. Is there way to disable auto-start downloading as soon as a torrent is added to the client?

There's a setting to add new torrents as stopped.
