i flashed 14 GB on Torrent-Damage with GreedyTorrent before i knew what flashing is!
at that time i had a very very bad ratio and there only couple of hours before i get auto-banned

but after that my account is still alive

Yesterday used 2 Mb/s Speed at BitmeTV(collective speed of 4-5 torrents) and added 5 GB ,still not banned...

Yes, it seems spreading speeds among torrents is the key:

I am sorry to say but this method doesn't work on bitmetv.At leat not with high values and high speeds.I did more that 100 mb with speeds up to 1 mb and nothing happen.After a few hours i tryed bigger speeds and bigger values and i was banned.SO i think it works but only with low speeds and low values uploaded.

i used to do 5mb/sec on bitmetv, single torrent:) Not banned. it was 4 years ago.
Though back then anti cheat scripts weren't this sophisticated.

@sbrocks mRatio 200 - 400 KB/s ( try at your own risk i am not recommending this to any body)

Hellboy says he never cheated at demonoid. May be It was any other reason. By the way Hellboy is one of the unlucky man because first person banned was at demonoid because of he flashed 40tb in a day ! and Hell boy did nothing at demonoid and got banned ??!!

Yes, no passkey. They use an IP system - you have to log in before the tracker updates your stats. Also, their ratio system is inaccurate for those NATed or with a dynamic address.

Here are the official tips from their FAQ:

Why isn't my ratio being reported properly?
There are a few reasons your ratio isn't updating properly. If the server is unresponsive, slow, or overloaded, the "event=stopped" message which is required to update your stats may become lost. Similarly, a faulty, experimental, or beta testing a client, may also cause your stats to be misreported. Another possibility is the site may have a different IP associated with your account than the one you sent the "event=stopped" message with. If your client supports DHT and it is enabled any data transfered via these means will not count toward your ratio.

What are the best practices for ensuring my ratio is updated correctly?
There are a few things you may try to ensure a proper ratio update.

Be sure you are using a compatible client. Many clients do not follow the bittorrent protocol properly. Use experimental and beta versions at your own risk. If you're not sure what is compatible or not, be sure to check out this forum thread. It's a pretty coherent list of clients which have been through a battery of tests.
If you have dynamic IP and/or sign in from multiple locations, the site may have the wrong IP address associated with your account. The best way to remedy this is to sign out of the main site (torrent side), sign back in, and browse the site for a bit. This should refresh your IP.
