    The URL is:
    Code:
    http://www.snowtigers.net/
As the article says, they're down at the moment. Just finished reading it. Hope they don't become the next Razorback or OiNK.

Bad news indeed. And yes it's kinda risky to be an admin these days, also it depends on the country where the tracker is hosted. For example in Romania there is no such thing as anti-p2p police like other countries have.

    still not safe enough:

    Code:
    http://torrentfreak.com/torrentbitsro-raided-by-the-romanian-police/
    edit:

looks like the bigger/more famous the site gets there is more chance of getting in trouble

'ya but the admins are pretty decent folk at What.cd, yes??

They're actually pretty freindly, I find.

I hope taht What.cd stays for a long time. I think that they are hosted in INdonesia.....I think. Can't remember where I read whereof the site is hosted. \
Or maybe in my home country. Don't know for sure, though. I'd be guessing though.

What makes a tracker vulnerable anyways? SnowTigers is a relatively small and obscure tracker compared to giants like waffles and what.

They're well-known in France, and the admins made a small fortune in donations, which leaves a paper trail just big enough to follow.

Friendlly it's not..because they are to creepy on the ip changes and tradeing..stuff..bla..bla...just like the tracker that they own are somehow a finger from the God..and if you have what.cd everything it will work fine for now on.on financial..social..health..

Just made a background search and it look's like they have a New Jersey IP.

Don't now what make a tracker vulnerable since some of them have a more popularity inside the country than outside..
And about donations and "small fortune" i never will believe that snowtigers has made more money from donations then SCT,SCC,FTN,Waffles,What.Cd but the ideea are somehow in the back of the head that the big trackers are in ours mind somehow legit..and that crappy little trackers are illegal "oh my god..arest them"

Also i don't whant to think that are somehow competition interest..and few good trackers are better for the Big Bosses Trackers Admins..or i will not be surprised if someone from the Big Trackers stuff admins have contacts at the police...or have relatives on the police...and they will let in peace and nevers arrested.

I can't agree with you on that mate as I've seen they are very picky and I've also seen a donor being banned because he invited a dupe account maker. To my understanding, that is a unrespectful thing to be done to someone who is helping them.

That's really bad news. I heard that France is really strict with copyright infringements but this surprises me.

Let's hope the admins will get off cheaply.

wEll, maybe you guys are right about the admins on What.CD being a crowd of nasties.

See, I even 'thanked' you guys for it.

What.cd's staff may not be the best, but don't let that blind you - would you like to see one of the big W's be taken down just for that? I think they're by far the best music tracker.
