Yes, if you don't your traffic to be shown in the peerlist. Otherwise, it doesn't matter.

Well, there's isn't a definitive way to answer that, the speeds are dependent on each tracker.

If you hit stop on RM before the update, no your speeds won't be shown on the peerlist, even if you restart it afterwards.

As long as you aren't banned or flagged, everything's OK

Ok, think I've got it now. Being shown in the peerlist isn't a problem since once i've stopped torrent at 2-3 minutes before update and set upload speed to 0 kb/s, that will be the upload speed shown in the peerlist?

Yes, it does. Otherwise, the tracker couldn't know you've stopped the torrent.

Make sure you're running both the RM and your client as administrator.

Well, then what's the catch? If I press stop 2-3 minutes before it starts to refresh automatically what changes?

And does this work on "what . cd" too?

I've just found myself in peerlist and it says I'm using Azureus but I did the memory reader option and I don't know what I've done wrong?
There's still time since I don't have to refresh.

Anyone knows how to do this with uTorrent 2.0?

EDIT: I solved that problem but now I did everything described in the first post. I've downloaded with my real speed, uploaded with a higher one. I stopped it when there was 2 mins left to update. Put the upload speed on 0 and continued downloading the rest of it. And now I'm the first on the peer list with large amount of GB uploaded.

Should I be worried?

Just for the record I never manually updated nor did anything that's not stated in the tutorial.

Emulating it using the RM... or what do you mean?

Stop and restart the torrent. Unless it's a Gazelle tracker we're talking about, the speed should reset to 0kB/s.
