Considering all these facts, what could be the measures an avg joe could take?. Lets for a while think about the worst case scenario..

1. You are situated in a country A,
2. You downloads loads of stuff.
3. Anti p2p groups invades the server , gets the user account ...finally gets the IP.
4. What next ? It depends on the Country A's p2p policy or whatever right?

4. yes, but most of the time all they'll do is trying to scare you with a letter or settlement offer. They don't have the resources nor time needed to sue TL's hundreds of thousands of users.

They can send mail to your ISP and then its up to your ISP how it will react. That's for majority of countries I believe. Some may have specific laws regarding pirating which I am not aware of.

lol u dont have to even be rich, just rich enough (avg income) able to pay the fine. but then they have to spend resources on finding u and its pot luck
