SuperFundo Torrent Site Shut Down By Government

Earlier this week we reported that the LeechersLair tracker had been closed down by its host under orders from the Malaysian government. Now SuperFundo, another long standing torrent site, has been closed down too.

To be honest I have never heard about SuperFundo, but it's another trackersite taken down...

LL managed to get back. Let's see what happens to this one.

Is it a tracker? I always thought they just indexed torrents, as in genuine aXXo and other P2P group torrents, rather than host servers for the purpose of a tracker. Will do some research.

First thing I found out is that it's back up. Or atleast the site is; still seeing whether it's a tracker.

From a .torrent I downloaded I can confirm the site is up, but from an inspection of the trackers used by the .torrent, I can see no SuperFundo:

As an open indexer, SuperFundo doesn't have a tracker of its own...
