I have not been there long but it seems that's the average number on most of the torrents. I am unsure if that is usual or normal though.

What are the conditions to be able to invite people @ScL? I've searched around but didn't find anything in the FAQ.

If you're a Corporal or above you can ask for invites, also you get them if you donate.

But sometimes they issue invites to users too.

They're having "invite windows" right now. Which means that if you're a Corporal or above, you may get invites you can only use for a short period of time. An encouragement for users to be more active, perhaps?
