one more thing i forgot to add before...probably doesn't matter but
I never had any activity (fake uploading, downloading) in the time between my login and my ban and the account was in good standing (3.0 ratio)

Open signups: probably once after its initial launch, and never again.
Now, invites via IRC... they offered them twice last January.

but they do ban on country ip change... however in some cases people get lucky but in most cases they do ban on country ip change

Power Users get invites sometimes, too. The criteria TL uses for giving them isn't clear.yeah u have to but it is very hard to get as only vip users gets the invite which means either u had to trade or buy...

well u're d lucky one mate.. i recieved 1 tl account and next day got banned and it it happened again next time but third time was lucky i got a invite and even my friend lost 5 times his loose win ratio 5-1
i've my own expiriences to it

I have to agree somewhat, looks like the admins at TL are doing a lot of things right, they have massive member#, great speeds, massive torrent# and good range (of porn [joking] not rly). the only thing I find annoying is the VIP invite only thing.

but i've heard that the staff gives invites to some power users randomly not to all to some special .. i don't know the creteria but it happens sometimes... may b some day u'll get lucky
i don't remember on which tracker i read the announcement but i think its tl or scc... most prob its tl i guess .. it was one of the satff members trnsplanted sex.. now he became she... u can congratulate her and blah blah somethin like that
