Used to use gmx.de, but these days just plain gmail.

My ISP is crap, they never provided the advertised speed to us. My upload speed is real slow and unstable. Heck my download speed at times is also terrible. No choice, unless I want to go back to...

TOR a bit slow as it is... I remember trying it for normal web surfing last time, really slow. Quit using it after trying for few days.
